Your agent keeps working. You keep walking.

KLØDD is remote control for the agents on your machine: read, approve, switch models, start a session — from your phone. Your files and keys never leave it.

It is built and it runs. It is not on the stores yet — this is a waitlist for what is below.

Stored to write to you once, at launch. No tracking, no rental. What we store.

Where the line actually is

KLØDD runs nothing in the cloud — it’s a secure window onto a process on your own machine.

Your machine

  • The agent process — Claude Code, opencode, Kilo, Hermes, Codex
  • Every file it reads and writes
  • Provider keys, in the OS keychain — never sent over the relay
  • Every model call, billed to your own provider account

Your phone

  • The conversation, as it streams
  • Approval requests, answered with a tap
  • What the agent reports: file paths, diffs, tool output
  • Session list, model switcher, usage

Optional end-to-end encryption (XChaCha20-Poly1305) seals this traffic on your own devices — the relay sees only ciphertext. Privacy policy.

Here today

It works. You can’t have it yet.

No preview, no store listing — that’s what the waitlist is for.

The desktop app

One Mac app: sessions rail, chat, model switcher, usage.

macOS only — Windows and Linux builds compile but haven't shipped.

The phone app

iPhone and Android: read, approve with a tap, switch models, start a session.

Not on either store yet — that's what the waitlist is for.

The CLI and the daemon

One command installs it, one pairs it — the daemon runs standalone.

Login-service install is launchd only, for now.

Every agent, one contract

Claude Code, opencode, Kilo, Hermes, Codex — one contract, switch agents not apps.

Codex: a third-party ACP shim, macOS-only.

Your keys, your provider bill

Keys live in your OS keychain, passed to the agent — never the relay.

An end-to-end encrypted relay

Optional XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption, sealed and opened only on your own devices.

Presence and channel names aren't sealed.

Hands-free voice

Say it, hear it read back, say send — every message crosses a review first.

Barge-in: Mac only. The phone has no echo cancellation.

Prompt improvement, and a spoken summary

Clean up a draft, or hear a long reply shortened — on-device, no cloud call.

Android: shortens replies, can't rewrite drafts.

A creature that grows on what you actually did

Sessions, tests, commits, and breaks feed one append-only ledger your creature grows on.

Grey lines are limits, stated up front.

Talking to it, and being talked over

Start phrase, dictate, review aloud, send phrase — the review can’t be skipped. Barge-in: Mac only. The phone has no echo cancellation, so it waits its turn.

Here today

Something grows out of the work

A creature grows from what you actually do — tests passed, commits made, sessions finished, breaks taken.

A life, in six eras

By level, never the calendar.

  1. startHatchlingNewly hatched.
  2. lv 3SproutFirst parts land.
  3. lv 8KiddoAntics unlock.
  4. lv 15AdolescentRecognisably yours.
  5. lv 22PrimeFull size.
  6. lv 28ElderEnd of a life — a new one is offered.
  7. lv 30AscensionIt is offered, never forced.

The next body is shown before you choose

3 of 8 body plans are built and playable; the rest are drawn, shown as a silhouette preview before you choose.

  • Bipedal
  • Quadruped
  • Amorphous
  • Winged — drawn, not built
  • Serpentine — drawn, not built
  • Aquatic — drawn, not built
  • Many-legged — drawn, not built
  • Hopper — drawn, not built

What moves it

The work

  • A local test suite passing
  • A local build succeeding
  • Code an agent wrote compiling
  • A commit recorded
  • A pull request merged
  • A tagged issue closed
  • A deploy succeeding
  • An agent session finished

The day

  • Deep-work time, counted while you are actually in it
  • A break taken
  • A pomodoro completed
  • A screen break completed
  • The daily mindfulness task
  • The daily walk

One ledger, and it is append-only

  • Append-only — entries are recorded, never a running total.
  • One history across machines: entries converge in any order, from any device.
  • A duplicate event counts once; the duplicate records why it awarded nothing.
  • Commit credit is opt-in, checked over your own machine's loopback — no repo name or code leaves it.

Every level offers 3 cards. You keep one.

Pick one of 3 from a table of 33; the other two are gone for good.

  • 12PartsA horn, a visor, wing stubs.
  • 5TexturesCoat shift to aurora weave.
  • 5AurasWhat it carries around itself.
  • 11AnticsThings it does unprompted.

Draw weight

  • Common 60
  • Uncommon 25
  • Rare 11
  • Mythic 4

Higher rarity, rarer draw — never better.

What comes after

Not shipped. Here so you can judge the direction.

  1. Multiplayer sessions

Share a link to let someone read — and prompt — your session, without handing over your machine.

  2. A first-party engine

An agent that's ours, hosted in the daemon beside the ones we adapt to.

  3. The orchestration canvas

Roles and delegations as a graph you can read, rewire, and watch run.

  4. smelt, in the open

Reversible context optimization for coding agents, written in the open. Public repo.

What it will take, on the day

  1. Install the kotg CLI, or use the macOS app.
  2. Run kotg pair and scan the QR — it carries the encryption key, so it never touches the network.
  3. Start an agent. It shows up in the lobby; walk away.
